Design/methodology/approach: In this study, the data collection process was carried out through three qualitative data collection techniques, namely: (1) Interviews; (2) Observation; and (3) Literature review. The interview process was carried out with 3R activists and the community of Cipageran Community 22, while observations were made by visiting the location and witnessing the process firsthand. The literature review is implemented in various documents related to 3R practices. Findings: The results of the study indicate that there is a change in the mindset (knowledge), attitudes, and behavior of the residents of Cipageran Community 22 after gaining insight and having the opportunity to apply the 3R concept in their environment. The application of this concept not only changes knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the management and utilization of household waste but is also able to generate economic benefits through the sale of handicrafts produced from inorganic waste. INTRODUCTION Sustainable development is a development concept that is a requirement in the current era of climate change, where people are able to sustain long term existence of the natural environment for current and future generations (Roosa, 2010). The United Nations (UN) established the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the year 2015 as guidelines for development worldwide. Since 2016, SDGs have become an important foundation for development processes around the world. SDGs consisted of 17 targets ranging from poverty alleviation, lowering disparities, and protecting the environment (see UN Website: https://sdgs.un.org/goals ). Indonesia as a developing nation also partakes and follows the SDGs guidelines in its development process. One important challenge faced by the Indonesian government today is the issue concerning a decrease in the quality of the environment which could be a threat to the lives of Indonesian. Waste management is currently the biggest problem faced by Indonesia. Where the problem of waste management undoubtedly has a negative impact on the natural environment and human life. In West Bandung Regency, the issue of waste management has become an imperative problem and needs to be addressed immediately. Currently, the production of waste in the West Bandung Regency reaches 250 tons per day. Meanwhile, the capacity of the
