It is important to eliminate the lack of social service interventions and policies towards Ahiska Turks in the literature and to raise awareness by developing advocacy on behalf of this disadvantaged group. Prior to the research process, ethics committee approval was obtained according to the decision of Yalova University Human Research Ethics Committee dated 27.07.2021 and numbered 2021/92. In the quantitative part of the research, which was carried out with the mixed research method, a structured questionnaire was applied to 500 Ahiska Turkic free immigrants. The hypotheses of the research are as follows: “As the length of stay of Ahiska Turk free immigrants in the country increases, the integration problem decreases”, “Due to the limitation of the law no. determined. The frequency distributions of the Ahiska Turks were collected by using the SPSS 26.0 program and the hypotheses were tested with the chi- square test. In the qualitative part of the research, face-to-face interviews were conducted with 13 officials of institutions and organizations, and answers were sought for the integration processes and integration problems of Ahiska Turkic free immigrants. As a result of the research, the economic, political and socio- cultural adaptation problems of the Ahiska Turkic free immigrants have been revealed and it has been seen that macro social work approaches are necessary to solve these adaptation problems.
