Promoting Curiosity among the Participants of Micro Economics in Online Classes conducted during Lockdown 2020 Hitesh Bhatia Associate Professor, School of Business and Law, Navrachana University hiteshb@nuv.ac.in Abstract Education Continuity Plan was an amazing challenge for all higher education institutions in India amid lockdown 2020. Institutions and educators had to think about delivering education at the doorstep of their participants. Thankfully internet technology has empowered both the teachers and students with much-required tools to impart and absorb education online. However, the challenge was to ensure that the participants remain alert and curious about the content delivered to them in online mode. They remain responsive and grasp the knowledge as smoothly as they do in a physical classroom. The student should be able to question as to why he/she is studying the given course and the topic? What is its use and where is it practiced? What are the skills required and how can be practiced by him/her?. The present paper is a modest attempt to highlight various techniques and pedagogical changes adopted to improve the effectiveness of online delivery and promote curiosity for the course of Micro Economics in higher education during the lockdown 2020.
