This study employs a descriptive and verification methodology with a quantitative approach. This study collected a sample of 55 instructors from multiple private universities in DKI Jakarta using a random selection technique. This study uses offline and online questionnaires (G-Form), interviews, and observation to collect data. This study assessed the value of validity, reliability, normality test, heteroscedasticity test, T test, F test, multiple linear regression analysis test, correlation analysis, and coefficient of determination analysis using SPSS version 24. This study concludes that permanent professors in DKI Jakarta are favourably and negatively affected by their capacity to maintain a work-life balance. The effectiveness of lecturers at DKI Jakarta is unaffected by transformative leadership. Consequently, the semesterly performance of lecturers at DKI Jakarta is indirectly influenced by the policies published and executed by officials and academic leaders at other higher institutions. In addition, transformational leadership, which consists of Ideal Influence, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation, and Individual Consideration, is regarded as a key category in a variety of DKI Jakarta institutions. Therefore, it is vital to strengthen the leadership at various universities in DKI Jakarta by employing transformational leadership qualities.Given that this study demonstrates that work-family conflict cannot mediate the relationship between work-life balance and lecturer performance, it can serve as a resource for future researchers by illustrating related research findings that contribute to the research gap affecting lecturer performance.
