The focus of this research is how the article entitled “Memecah Langit Kaca Bernama Bias Gender” build a discourse on women’s empowerment. The writers use descriptive analytical method and Sara Mills’ critical discourse analysis as an approach to describe the problems faced by women in everyday life, such as gender stereotype, the lack of women’s representation in the work field, the increasing of physical and sexual violence towards women in pandemic era, the decreasing of women’s income, and women’s limitation in accessing sexual and reproductive and health service. Mill said that magazine is a means of ideological agents that carry messages through symbols. This symbol is explored through texts on feminism and discourses on women’s empowerment. Women’s empowerment discourse can be seen as solution that’s offered by the author to fight gender bias and patriarchy. The author underlines the importance of having gender awareness, starting from family sphere as the primary socialization agent, play groups, to the public sphere as school and work environment. Fokus penelitian ini adalah bagaimana headline di dalam Majalah Femina membangun diskursus pemberdayaan perempuan dilihat dari wacana-wacana yang dibahas.
