Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 27 siswa kelas IX-B. Intrumen pengumpulan data berupa pedoman wawancara dan angket, yaitu untuk mengetahui deskripsi kesulitan belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika dimasa pandemi covid-19. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara keseluruhan nilai rata-rata kesulitan belajar matematika siswa yaitu 5,7 yang termasuk dalam kategori sulit. Pada indikator “ketidakmampuan untuk mengingat nama-nama secara teknis” memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 6,78 termasuk dalam kategori sulit. Pada indikator “ketidakmampuan untuk menyatakan arti dari istilah yang mewakili konsep tertentu” memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 6,67 termasuk dalam kategori sulit, dan pada indikator “ketidakmampuan untuk mengingat suatu kondisi atau lebih yang diperlukan” memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 2,92 yang juga termasuk dalam kategori sulit. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesulitan belajar matematika siswa dimasa pandemi covid-19 termasuk dalam kategori sulit, artinya sebagian besar siswa merasa sulit dalam pembelajaran matematika di masa pandemi covid-19 yang mana pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika dilakukan secara daring. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the description of student learning difficulties in learning mathematics during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method is a qualitative descriptive study. The samples taken were 27 students of class IX-B. Data collection instruments in the form of interview guidelines and questionnaires, which are to find out a description of student learning difficulties in learning mathematics during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the overall average score of students' learning difficulties in mathematics is 5.7 which is in the difficult category. On the indicator "the inability to remember names technically" has an average score of 6.78 including in the difficult category. On the indicator "the inability to express the meaning of a term that represents a particular concept" has an average value of 6.67 which is categorized as difficult, and on the indicator "the inability to remember a condition or more is needed" has an average value of 2, 92 which also falls into the difficult category. It can be concluded that the difficulty of learning mathematics for students during the Covid-19 pandemic was in the difficult category, meaning that most students found it difficult to learn mathematics during the Covid-19 pandemic, where mathematics learning was carried out online. .
