Soekarno Hatta, Tlogosari Semarang Email : Antoniusfrancis63@gmail.com ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the occurrence of a business phenomenon that is happening in automotive sector manufacturing companies. This phenomenon shows the declining financial performance of automotive sector manufacturing companies. This has attracted the interest of researchers to find out what causes the problems experienced by the automotive sector manufacturing companies, to formulate the right strategy to solve these problems, the researchers determined several concepts including liquidity, activity, debt to equity ratio and company size as variables that affect financial performance. The research sample consisted of 30 data. With the sampling method using purposive sampling technique, namely the selection of samples from a population based on criteria (considerations). This study uses two-stage multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study based on statistical analysis that have been conducted show that liquidity, debt to equity ratio, and company size have no effect on the company's financial performance.
