Pendidikan Sejarah, FPIPS Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Correspondence Author: bagaserlanggasutara@upi.edu Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas mengenai sudut pandang mahasiswa Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia terhadap film Penghianatan G30S/PKI. Aksi penghianatan Gerakan 30 September 1965 merupakan salah satu peristiwa sejarah Indonesia yang sangat kelam, dimana peristiwa tersebut menewaskan tujuh orang perwira tinggi militer angkatan darat Republik Indonesia. Kemudian pemerintahan presiden Soeharto pada tahun 1984 membuat film propaganda tentang aksi penghianatan G30S/PKI dari sudut pandang Orde Baru. Film tersebut disutradarai dan ditulis oleh Arifin C. Noer dan diproduseri oleh G. Dwipayana. Film penghianatan G30S/PKI diproduksi selama dua tahun dengan anggaran biaya sebesar 800 juta pada wakrtu itu. Sejak tahun 1984 hingga berakhirnya pemerintahan Orde Baru pada tahun 1998 film ini menjadi tontonan wajib rakyat Indonesia menjelang pemilu. Penayangan film ini berdampak dengan timbulnya komunisto-phobia dikalangan rakyat Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini akan diteliti bagaimana sudut pandang mahasiswa Pendidikan Sejarah UPI terkait film Penghianatan G30S/PKI. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pembuktian teori peluru bahwasanya media memiliki kekuatan yang sangat besar, mayoritas mahasiswa penggambaran seputar kejadian G30S sesuai dengan apa yang di filmkan. Abstract This study discusses the perspectives of studens of History Education at the Indonesian University of Education on the film Penghianatan G30S/PKI. The betrayal of the 30 september 1965 Movement was one of the darkest event in Indonesian history, in which the incident killed seven high-rangking military officers in the Republic of Indonesia’s army. Then the goverment of president Soeharto in 1984 made a propaganda film about the G30S/PKI betrayal from the perspective of the Orde Baru. The film was directed and written by Arifin C. Noer and produced by G. Dwipayana. The G30S/PKI betrayal film was produced for two years with a budget of 800 milion at that time. From 1984 until the and of the Orde Baru government in 1998, this film was mandatory viewing for the Indonesian people ahead of the general election. The screening of this film had and impact on the emergence of communist-phobia among the Indonesian people. In this researh, we will examine the perspective of UPI History Education students regerding the film Penghianatan G30S/PKI. The results of the research show that there is proof of the bullet theory that the media has enormous power, the majority of students depicting the events of the G30S are in accordance with what is filmed.
