Soekarno Km.21 Jatinangor, Sumedang 45363, Indonesia * Email: gema.wibawa@unpad.ac.id (Diterima 04-12-2022; Disetujui 11-01-2023) ABSTRAK Konsep ekosistem kewirausahaan memberikan dampak pada usaha sosial yang dilakukan oleh para pelaku nya, di sisi lain para pelaku usaha sosial juga memberikan pengaruh pada kinerja ekosistem wirausaha, mendorong penumbuhan usaha-usaha baru yang juga secara tidak langsung akan menumbuhkan ekosistem kewirausahaan pada suatu wilayah. Penelitian ini fokus untuk melihat bagaimana ekosistem kewirausahaan dan kewirausahaan saling melengkapi, atau mungkin justru saling melemahkan satu sama lain. Ekosistem kewirausahaan memiliki peranan penting bagi perkembangan kewirausahaan sosial, begitu pula sebaliknya, bahwa kewirausahaan sosial dapat memengaruhi perkembangan suatu ekosistem kewirausahaan. Konsep ekosistem kewirausahaan dan kewirausahaan sosial memiliki efek umpan balik positif, saling memperkuat satu sama lain, namun tidak saling memengaruhi secara linier. Peluang penelitian mengenai ekosistem kewirausahaan dan kewirausahaan sosial adalah pengembangan metodologi untuk menganalisis sebuah sistem secara lebih komprehensif. Metode kualitatif menurut kami cocok digunakan untuk melihat berbagai hubungan dalam sebuah sistem seperti ekosistem kewirausahaan ini. Data dan informasi yang diperoleh dari teknik kualitatif lebih memudahkan para peneliti untuk memahami berbagai macam karakteristik yang beragam dari sebuah ekosistem kewirausahaan, memahami berbagai macam dinamika yang terjadi di dalam nya. Meskipun memiliki perbedaan, namun pada prinsipnya kedua konsep ini muncul untuk memberikan kontribusi positif bagi pembangunan ekonomi dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kata kunci: Ekosistem kewirausahaan, Kewirausahaan, Kewirausahaan sosial, Metodologi ABSTRACT The concept of entrepreneurial ecosystem has an impact on social enterprises carried out by their actors, on the other hand, social entrepreneurs also influence the performance of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, encouraging the growth of new businesses that will also indirectly grow the entrepreneurial ecosystem in a region. This research focuses on seeing how the ecosystems of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship complement each other or perhaps weaken each other. The entrepreneurial ecosystem has an important role in the development of social entrepreneurship, and vice versa, that social entrepreneurship can influence the development of an entrepreneurial ecosystem. The concept of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and social entrepreneurship has a positive feedback effect, strengthening each other, but not affecting each other linearly. Research opportunities regarding the ecosystem of entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship are the development of methodologies to analyze a system more comprehensively. Qualitative methods in our opinion are suitable to be used to look at various relationships in a system such as this entrepreneurial ecosystem. Data and information obtained from qualitative techniques make it easier for researchers to understand the diverse characteristics of an entrepreneurial ecosystem,
