The Community Service Program was conducted with the main purpose to provide Solutions for flooding at junior high school (SMP) IT Muslimin of Dumai City and describe alternative solutions to the management, so that feedback is obtained in the form of suggestions. Finding a Solution to Flooding at the junior high school (SMP) IT Muslimin of Dumai city are contains including several materials, the urgency of the plan to overcome the annual flood at the SMP IT Muslim of Dumai City located on Jalan Melati Ratu Sima Village, South Dumai District - Dumai City. Certain steps are to be taken to overcome the floods of the junior high school (SMP) IT Muslimin in Dumai City. After analyzing the channel capacity/debit, it is calculated using the Manning velocity equation. The debit of channel (Qs) is small from the debit of design (Qr) with a value of Qs = 12.42 m3/second and Qr = 90.551m3/second, so absorption wells was made to accommodate the excess water that is not accommodated by the existing channel. Program Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PPM) yang dilakukan dengan tujuan utama yaitu untuk memberikan Solusi Mengatasi Banjir di SMP IT Muslimin Kota Dumai dan menggambarkan alternatif solusi nya kepada pengurus yayasan, sehingga didapatkan feedback berupa saran dan masukan dalam pemilihan alternatif. Mencarikan Solusi Mengatasi Banjir di SMP IT Muslimin Kota Dumai ini berisikan beberapa materi diantaranya, Urgensi terhadap rencana mengatasi Banjir tahunan di SMP IT Muslimin Kota Dumai yang berlokasi di Jalan Melati Kelurahan Ratu Sima Kecamatan Dumai Selatan - Kota Dumai, Langkah-langkah yang akan diambil untuk mengatasi Banjir SMP IT Muslimin Kota Dumai . Setelah melakukan Analisa kapasitas/debit saluran dihitung dengan menggunakan persamaan kecepatan Manning. Diperoleh debit saluran (Qs)kecil dari debit rencana (Qr) yaitu dengan nlai Qs=12,42 m3/dt
