Artinya secara gabungan UMKM menyerap sekitar 97% tenaga kerja nasional, sementara Usaha Besar hanya menyerap sekitar 3% dari total tenaga kerja nasional. Sehingga menyiapkan mahasiswa sebagai tenaga siap kerja di industri ini menjadi sangat menantang. Saat ini perguruan tinggi tidak hanya bertujuan untuk membangun peserta didik untuk memiliki kemampuan intelegensi dalam pembelajaran, namun juga agar mereka mampu menciptakan solusi permasalahan disekitarnya. Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik akan mata kuliah Praktek Manajemen Usaha Kecil, setelah sebelumnya mereka telah menerima materi- materi yang berkaitan. Tujuan penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project based learning) dengan metode Team Based Learning (TBL) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik akan mata kuliah Praktek Manajemen Usaha Kecil. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif sebagai tahapan evaluasi atas penerimaan materi yang telah diberikan. Kata kunci: Project Based Lerning, Team Based Learning, Praktek Manajemen Usaha Kecil ABSTRACT MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) are the largest contributors to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Indonesia, which has absorbed 97% of the total workforce and 99% of total employment. This means that combined, MSMEs absorb around 97% of the national workforce, while large businesses only absorb about 3% of the total national workforce. So preparing students as ready to work in this industry becomes very challenging. Currently, higher education does not only aim to build students to have intelligence abilities in learning, but also so that they are able to create solutions to problems around them. The project-based learning model is more effective in increasing students' understanding of the Small Business Management Practice course, after they have previously received related materials. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of applying project-based learning with the Team Based Learning (TBL) method in increasing students' understanding of the Small Business Management Practice course. The research method used is descriptive as a stage of evaluation of the acceptance of the material that has been given.
