Jurnal Penelitian Medan Agama, Volume 12, Nomor 01, 2021 Konsep Hulul Menurut Al-Hallaj Dan Penempatan Posisi Tasawuf The Concept of Hulul According to Al-Hallaj and the Positioning of Sufism Abstract This paper aims to discuss the thought of Hulul according to al-Hallaj and seek the placement of Sufism from among Sufis, The study of Hulul thought which is often identified with the recent attracted the attention of academics, researchers and religious scholars. The issue of Al- Hulul, by some parties is forcibly tried to be juxtaposed and equated with the thought of wihdatul wujud which is conceptualized by Sufi figures such as al-Hallaj. This paper aims to examine the model and practice of Sufism in the person of Abu Mansur Al-Hallaj who is mentioned by some as the bearer of the idea of Hulul. The life of al Hallaj, is a journey of total spirituality. " or unity of substance So far it turns out that the accusation is with respect to Al- Hallaj's view, that between man and God can be a love affair, which for the accuser means equating God with man. This paper is also a qualitative study with a philosophical-theological approach. The conclusion of the teachings of al-Hallaj is association with God in the form of al-hu1ul (taking place). According to his philosophy God has the nature of humanity and man himself has the nature of God, Nasrut and Lahut. But Sufi scholars criticize the concept of Hulul because many are inappropriate and deviant. Keywords : Al-Hallaj, Unity, Al-Hulul Abstrak Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendiskusikan pemikiran Hulul menurut al-Hallaj dan mencari penempatan tasawuf dari kalangan tasawuf, Kajian pemikiran Hulul yang sering diidentikkan dengan belakangan menarik perhatian kalangan akademisi, peneliti dan para pengkaji agama agama. Isu Al-Hulul, oleh sebagian pihak secara paksa dicoba untuk disandingkan dan disamakan dengan pemikiran wihdatul wujud yang dikonsepsikan tokoh sufi seperti al-Hallaj. Tulisan ini bermaksud mengkaji model dan praktik tasawuf dalam pribadi Abu Mansur Al- Hallaj yang disebut oleh sebagian pihak sebagai pengusung ide Hulul. Kehidupan al Hallaj, adalah perjalanan spiritualitas yang total.” atau kesatuan substansi Sampai sejauh ini ternyata tuduhan tersebut adalah berkenaan dengan pandangan Al-Hallaj, bahwa antara manusia dengan Tuhan bisa terjalin hubungan cinta, yang bagi penuduhnya itu berarti penyamaan Tuhan dengan manusia Tulisan ini juga merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan filosofis-teologi. Yang berkesimpulan ajaran al-Hallaj adalah persatuan dengan Tuhan dalam bentuk al-hu1ul (mengambil tempat). Menurut falsafahnya Tuhan mempunyai sifat kemanusiaan dan manusia sendiri mempunyai sifat ke-Tuhanan, Nasrut dan Lahut. Tetapi para ulama sufi memberukan kritik terhadap konsep Hulul ini karena banyak yang tidak sesuai dan menyimpang.
