This research was conducted to introduce innovative learning methods and keep up with the times, namely by using Virtual Reality (VR) as a learning medium in the subject of fiqh, Hajj pilgrimage material. VR is a computer- based technology that combines input and output devices so that users can interact directly with the virtual environment. VR is considered to be able to help student understand better during the learning process. This is because VR displays a visualization that seems to be seen by the user, such as a simulation of the pilgrimage using VR seemed to be present and witnessed the Hajj pilgrimage at the Grand Mosque. Even feel the compassion when it seems to see the Kakbah close up. So that students not only know and understand the procedures for the pilgrimage, but also present a close feeling and see directly the Kakbah even it’s just illusion. Keywords: Virtual Reality, Islamic Jurisprudence Learning, Hajj. 1. Introduction Technology and science participate in developing according to the times that continue to move forward. Science and technology are inseparable things. This can be seen in the teaching and learning process that uses advanced technology as a learning media. Especially for subjects that require deep understanding such as jurisprudence. The main material which is one of the discussions in this subject is the procedure for carrying out the Hajj. Hajj according to language is intent on something that is glorified. In term, Hajj means a special job that is done at a time and place for a specific purpose (Nuri, 2014). This is certainly no stranger to students who are in religion-based schools. Regardless of what students say, every Muslim is obliged to know it as the fifth pillar of Islam. One of the learning media that can be used is Virtual Reality or better known as VR. The use of VR technology in the digital era as a learning media is considered capable of helping students understand better. This is done by presenting an illustration that seems real in the learning of the Hajj, which will facilitate the realization of the students imagination in understanding the material, and make the class atmosphere that was originally static more fun and dynamic. Based on the above background, the formulation of the problem in this research is "How is the use of Virtual Reality (VR) as a media for learning Islam jurisprudence for Hajj pilgrimage material?".
