Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan selama ± 2 bulan pada bulan Maret sampai bulan April 2016. Dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan jamu ternak terhadap penampilan produksi ayam kampung umur 7 sampai 12 minggu. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (Completely Randomized Design) dengan 4 (empat) perlakuan dan 3 (tiga) ulangan dengan susunan perlakuan A0 = air minum tanpa jamu (kontrol), A1 = air minum dengan jamu 1% (v/v), A2 = air minum dengan jamu 2% (v/v) dan A3 = air minum dengan jamu 3% (v/v). Variabel yang diamati yaitu konsumsi pakan, pertambahan bobot badan, konversi pakan dan bobot karkas ayam kampung umur 7- 12 minggu. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisys of variance (ANOVA). Perlakuan yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap peubah diuji lanjut dengan menggunakan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian menunjukan pemberian jamu ternak pada air minum berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot karkas ayam kampung umur 7-12 minggu, tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap konsumsi pakan, PBB, dan konversi pakan dan pemberian jamu ternak 3 % memberikan persentase karkas yang nyata lebih tinggi dibandingkan pemberian 1 % dan 2 %. This study aimed to understand effect of livestock herbs application on performance of native chicken production aged 7 to 12 weeks. Study design that used was completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replications as follows A0=drinking water without livestock herbs (control), A1=drinking water with 1% (v/v) of livestock herbs, A2=drinking water with 2% (v/v) of livestock herbs, and A3=drinking water with 3% (v/v) of livestock herbs. Variables that obtained were feed intake, weight gain, feed conversion, and carcass weight of native chicken aged 7 12 weeks. Obtained data was analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA). Treatments that significantly different to variables were tested continuously by using least significant different test. Result of this study showed that application of livestock herbs on drinking water has significant effect to carcass weight, but has no significant effect to feed intake, weight gain, and feed conversion, and application of livestock herbs as much as 3% showed higher carcass percentage in compare with 1% and 2%.
