The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative research form. The subjects in this study were class B teachers and class B children at TK LKIA 2 Pontianak. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that: 1. Teachers at TK LKIA 2 Pontianak had prepared a daily lesson plan (RPPH) every day before learning began, the songs prepared by the teacher were in accordance with the learning theme, the selection of songs that were familiar/familiar to the world of children and easy to sing by children. such as the form of a song that is simple and not too long so that the lyrics are easily memorized by children, 2. The implementation of learning has been carried out quite well in accordance with the RPPH, in carrying out singing activities it is done by teaching techniques repeatedly, singing activities gradually and in groups, the existence of trust and closeness between teachers and children, and giving rewards to children, 3. Evaluation is carried out using a daily assessment instrument sheet in the form of a checklist. Thus, the application of the singing method in developing children's self-confidence in the Kindergarten of the Mother and Child Welfare Institution 2 Pontianak has been carried out quite well. Keywords: Confindence and Singing Method PENDAHULUAN Percaya diri adalah perasaan yakin terhadap kemampuan yang dimiliki untuk dapat melakukan atau menyelesaikan segala sesuatu. Anak yang memiliki kepercayaan diri yaitu sudah berani bernyanyi di depan kelas tanpa ragu dan malu, sudah bisa menunjukan rasa gembira saat bernyanyi di depan kelas sesuai dengan gerakan, dan sudah sudah bisa bernyanyi dengan suara yang jelas dan lantang di depan kelas. Rahayu, (2013) mengungkapkan kepercayaan diri merupakan hal penting yang harus dimiliki anak untuk menapaki roda kehidupan. Rasa percaya diri ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan mental dan karakter anak dikemudian hari. Anak yang memiliki mental dan karakter yang kuat akan menjadi modal penting bagi masa depannya ketika menginjak usia dewasa, sehingga mampu menghadapi setiap tantangan dengan lebih realistis. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal yang dilakukan peneliti dari bulan November sampai Desember tahun 2020 di TK LKIA 2 Pontianak menunjukan
