The purpose of this Research is determine the level of validity based on the function of the media. The type of this research used is Research and Development (R&D) which uses a 4-D development model, that consist of some stages namely the defne, design, develop, and disseminate stage. Validation questionnaire were given to UNP chemistry lecturer and chemistry teacher at SMAN 1 Bonjol. The data analysis technique used Aiken’s V. The result of data analysis showed that the chemical domino card game as a learning media for colloid system material had a validity level of 0,89 with valid criteria. The result showed that the chemical domino card game developed was a valid. KEYWORDS 4-D Model, Aiken’s V, Chemical Domino Card Game, Colloid System, R&D ABSTRAK Permainan kartu domino kimia adalah variasi media pembelajaran dalam pemantapan materi sistem koloid bagi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tingkat validitas berdasarkan fungsi media. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D, yaitu tahap defne, design, develop, dan disseminate. Angket validasi digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitian yang diberikan kepada dosen kimia UNP dan guru kimia di SMAN 1 Bonjol. Teknik analisa data menggunakan Aiken’s V. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan kartu domino kimia sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi sistem koloid memiliki tingkat validitas sebesar 0,89 dengan kriteria valid.
