Diferent physical, chemical and biological methods have been investgated to remove sulfur compounds from oil and gas industries, including hydrodesulfurizton (HDS), biodesulfurizaton (BDS), absorpton desulfurizaton (ADS), extractve desulfurizaton (EDS) and oxidatve desulfurizaton (ODS) [1,2]. Among these diferent methods, ADS selectve process is mainly considered as an appropriate approach for desulfurizaton, mainly due to its low energy consumpton and cost and high efciency [3,4]. In recent years, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and Zeolitc imidazolate frameworks (ZIFs) have shown beter chemical and thermal stability compared with other adsorbent. It introduced them as a suitable opton for diverse applicatons such as gas storage, separaton, catalyst, chemical sensors, etc. [5]. Following our studies about morphology and to improve the propertes of ZIF-8 in absorbing sulfur compounds using meroporous structures [6], in this study, the best synthesized hybrid adsorbent UVM-7@ZIF-8 is used to remove sulfur compounds from gas streams, to remove DBT in a liquid phase synthesized by the hydrothermal method. In additon, various factors such as the amount of adsorbent and absorpton tme have been investgated to study the efciency and removal capacity of UVM-7@ZIF-8 adsorbent. In additon, the good selectvity of UVM-7@ZIF-8 over naphthalene (NA) indicated the absorpton on non-saturaton centers around Zn metal.
