The agricultural sector is able to contribute directly to the welfare of farming households and one of the pillars of the national economy. This means that the agricultural sector plays an important role and should be the driver of the country's economic activities. Data from the Central Statistics Agency recorded that Indonesia's population worked the most in the agricultural sector during 2022. The population working in the agricultural sector reaches or around 1.86 million people or an increase of 29.96% (BPS, 2022). This study aims to (1) Identify economies of scale in cocoa farming (Theobroma cacao L.) in Saiba Village, Ransiki District, South Manokwari District. (2) Analyze the level of economic efficiency of cocoa farming (Theobroma cacao L.) in Saiba Village, Ransiki District, South Manokwari District. This research has been carried out in Saiba Village, Ransiki District, South Manokwari Regency which was carried out for 1 month. The data in this study used primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained by direct interviews based on the list of questions ( quisioners) that have been prepared, while secondary data is complementary data obtained from institutions or agencies. The data was processed using Break Event Point (BEP) analysis to measure business scale and economic efficiency analysis using the Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C) and Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C) methods. The results showed that the average cocoa production was 39 kg with an average land area cultivated by farmers of 1 ha. Based on the results of the Production Volume Break Event Point (BEP) analysis, the Production Price Break Event Point (BEP) and the Land Area Break Event Point (BEP) have jointly broken even and are profitable. In the economic efficiency, cocoa farming business is in an efficient or economically feasible condition as indicated by the value of the Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C) and Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C). Keywords: Economic Efficiency, Business Scale, Cocoa Farming, Saiba Village ABSTRAK Indonesia merupakan negara agraris yang mana sektor pertanian memiliki peran yang penting terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Sektor pertanian mampu memberikan kontribusi secara langsung terhadap kesejahteraan rumah tangga tani dan salah satu penopang perekonomian nasional. Artinya bahwa sektor pertanian memegang peranan penting dan seharusnya menjadi penggerak dari kegiatan perekonomian negara. Data Badan Pusat Statistik mencatat, penduduk Indonesia paling banyak bekerja di sektor pertanian selama Tahun 2022. Penduduk yang bekerja di sektor pertanian mencapai atau sekitar 1,86 juta orang atau naik 29,96% (BPS, 2022). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengidentifikasi skala ekonomi (economies of scale) pada usahatani kakao (Theobroma cacao L.) di Kampung Saiba, Distrik Ransiki, Kabupaten Manokwari Selatan. (2) Menganalisis tingkat efisiensi ekonomi usahatani kakao (Theobroma cacao L.) di Kampung Saiba, Distrik Ransiki, Kabupaten Manokwari Selatan. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Kampung Saiba Distrik Ransiki Kabupaten Manokwari Selatan yang dilakukan selama 1 bulan. Data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dengan cara wawancara langsung yang berpedoman pada daftar pertanyaan (quisioner) yang telah dipersiapkan, sedangkan data sekunder merupakan data pelengkap yang diperoleh dari Lembaga atau instansi. Data diolah menggunakan analisis Break Event Point (BEP) untuk mengukur skala usaha dan analisis efisiensi ekonomi dengan menggunakan metode Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C) dan Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata produksi kakao sebesar 39 kg dengan luas lahan rata-rata yang diusahakan petani sebesar 1 Ha.
