STUDY OF INTUITIVE EATING TOWARD PATIENTS DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE TWO Sabiila Sarah 1 , Luh Putu Suta Haryanthi 2 1 Jakarta State Islamic University, Faculty of Psychology, Juanda 95, Ciputat 15412, South Tangerang 2 Jakarta State Islamic University, Faculty of Psychology Juanda 95, Ciputat 15412, South Tangerang Sabila.sarah11@mhs.uinjkt.ac.id (Sabiila Sarah) Abstract The aim of this study is to examine the effect of self esteem, proactive coping, and dimension of social support, including guidance, reliable alliance, reassurance of worth, opportunity for nurturance, attachment and social integration toward intuitive eating with patients diabetes mellitus type two. Intuitive eating is an adaptive eating behavior characterized by internal cues of hunger and satiety physiological. Sampels are 161 people who have the criteria for at least one year diagnosed with diabetes by a medical examination and domiciled in South Jakarta. The research uses a quantitative approach, using multiple regression analysis. The results shows that significant effect together of self-esteem, proactive coping and dimension of social support toward intuitive eating with patients diabetes mellitus type two (R-square = 0.164, sig. = 0.001). The predictor with the greatest influence is the opportunity for nurturance from social support. She graduated from 37 senior high school in Jakarta, and from Jakarta State Islamic University at Ciputat, South Tangerang with a Bachelor of Psychology in November 2015. In 2012, she joined the Department of Art and Culture in BEMF Psychology UIN Jakarta. During her education, she served as Assistant research of Lecturer at C-Tech Labs Edwar Technology, worked as intern of human resources – learning at HSBC Jakarta, and then she served as administrative psychological test at Sinarmas Land, YAPPSI and experd consultant.
