The Papers of Independent Authors Volume 60, 2023 1 Series: PHYSICS Khmelnik, Solomon I. ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1493-6630 Flight of Insects Annotation First, honeycombs are examined and it is proved that a thermal energy flow pulsates above them and this explains some of the properties of honeycombs. Since they are a special case of cavity structures, the last statement applies to all flat cavity structures (FPS). It is further shown that if the FPS begins to move, then Coriolis forces appear, which lift and accelerate the movement of the FPS. It is shown that the heat flow over the FPS and Coriolis forces are created by the gravitational energy of the Earth. Contents 1. Introduction 2. Prerequisites 3. Geometry of honeycombs 4. For the convenience of the reader, the sections of this article are listed here first, and new sections continue to be numbered. It is shown below that a nonmonotonic gravitational field exists in the neighborhood of honeycombs. The structure of this field is also considered. It is assumed that this field is the result of honeycombs’ specific effect on biological objects. A possible action of this field on biological objects is described.
