Cyber-attacks on the power grid could result in significant economic losses. In the present scenario, in Russia -Ukraine war, Russia wanted to destroy Ukraine's power grid system to break its energy supply and make the war easier for them. This power describes the power grid, Cyber security, Architecture of the power grid, Details about the Indian power grid present era of digital technologies, Requirements from cyber security for a power grid, and Type of cyber-attacks that could occur in our security scheme. Here we present a PV cell-based power grid model also to give you a clear view of the power grid. The short form we use in this paper: -PHP device (Hypertext processor), ASP (Active sensor page), OT system (Operational Technologies system), IT system (Information Technology System), PX data (Plotty Express), AMR system (Automated Meter Reading system), REMC (Renewable Energy Management Center), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition). Keywords: Cyber security, PLC, SCADA, PHP device INTRODUCTION A power grid can be defined as a network that collects electrical energy from a power station (Generating station) and supplies the power to various distributors such as: - Industries, Substations, and Households (Domestic consumers). And power g rid plays a significant role in the survival & Growth of any country, by supplying continuous energy for the regulation of any country's economy. As we can know from the above paragraph the significance of the power grid for any country So, there is a high chance that Third-party (Hackers) can try to get control over our power grid to harm our nations or the power grid could be shut down due to other consequences also such as Technical Events, Environmental Events, Human Events, Cyber-attack. Example: - In 2012 INDIA Power outage occurs, in which Mumbai experience a blackout for about two days and which affects hospitals, Industries, and transportation systems. And this occurred due to the failure of three main transmission lines. It affected 620 million people and it spread power outages among 22 states.[1-8]
