Generally blood pressure increases slowly with increasing age. The risk of suffering from hypertension in a population ≥ 55 years of age whose normal blood pressure is 90%. Until the age of 55, men suffer more hypertension than women. From 55 years to 74 years, a little more women than men who suffer from hypertension. In the elderly population (age ≥60 years), the prevalence for hypertension is 65.4% (Triyanto, 2014). Objective: Knowing Relations Knowledge Level Against Elderly Diet Blood Pressure Hypertension. Research methods: This type of research uses descriptive method komperasi the research done to determine the type of level of relations between two or more variables, without making additional changes, or manipulation of the data that was already there (Nasehudin & Nana 2012). Result: The Spearman rho test results obtained 0.017 p value of <0.05, which means that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge about diet Elderly Hypertension with Blood Pressure in Dalkeith Health Center I. Conclusion: Based on the results of data analysis and discussion about Elderly Knowledge Level Relationship of Hypertension with Blood Pressure Diet in Dalkeith Health Center I. Keywords : knowledge, Hypertension, Generally blood pressure. ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit degeneratif. Hipertensi merupakan silent killer dimana gejala dapat bervariasi pada masing-masing individu dan hampir sama dengan gejala penyakitnya lainya. Permasalahan saat ini masih ditemukan pasien hipertensi yang tidak mengetahui tentang diet yang disarankan. Tujuan Penelitian : Mengetahui Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan Lansia Tentang Diit Hipertensi Dengan Tekanan Darah di Puskesmas Gamping I. Metode Penelitian : Jenis penelitian menggunaan metode deskriptif korelasi dengan metode cross sectional, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 lansia. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, analisis data menggunakan spearman. Hasil : Hasil uji korelasi spearman bahwa ada hubungan bermakna antara Tingkat Pengetahuan Lansia tentang Diet Hipertensi dengan Tekanan Darah di Puskesmas Gamping I (p = 0,017). Kesimpulan : Ada hubungan yang bermakna antara Tingkat Pengetahuan Lansia tentang Diet Hipertensi dengan Tekanan Darah di Puskesmas Gamping I. Kata Kunci : Hipertensi, Tekanan Darah, Pengetahuan
