Education provides the intellectual feat, which is required for social, economic, political and technological development of a nation. Education is intended to improve the personal life of the student in terms of the knowledge and skills, which he requires and which enhance his quality of life and contributes to the well-being of his society. For this purpose, this study investigated educational enhancement as a veritable tool for socio-cultural, political and economic effectiveness in Remo North Area of Ogun State, Nigeria. The study was guided by the Cultural Orientation Theory and Values Orientation Theory. A sample size of Two Hundred and Seventy (270) respondents were used via the multi-stage sampling system. Findings revealed that enhancing education remains panacea for economic development; in addition, enhancing education will positively influence economic development. Finally, enhancing education will influence political awareness, sensitisation and proper orientation. The study concluded that sound education, as a veritable tool for social progress needs careful planning in every aspect of life social, cultural, economic, and political. Education must be planned in a manner which is in keeping with the needs and aspiration of the people as a whole. Thus, government should put a stop to politicization of education, changing political environment, incessant change of educational policies and corruption. Furthermore, the private sector can participate by providing research grants, awarding of scholarships and endowment of Professorial Chairs in universities.
