437 ARSLANTEPE’DE (3500-3900 MÖ) STOK VE EMANET MAL UYGULAMALARI Doç. Dr. Yusuf Cahit ÇUKACI 1* ÖZ Bu çalışmada arkeologların çıkardıkları bulgular ve bilimsel yöntemlerle yaptıkları tarihlendirme çalışmaları ile birlikte tarihçilerin elindeki diğer belgelerin birleştiril- mesi sonucunda ilgili bilim dallarının sistematiğine göre derlenen verilerin muhasebe bilim insanlarının kullanımına sunabilmek amacıyla devlet uygulamalarından biri, belki de ilklerinden biri, olan Arslantepe (Malatya) yerleşim alanındaki bulguların muhasebe bilimiyle ilişkilendirerek yazının (kaydın) olmadığı bir dönemde ilgili kişi- lere bilgi üretebilmek amacıyla nasıl bir çalışma yapıldığı konusunda bilgi sunulmaya çalışılmıştır. Devlet uygulamalarının ilklerinin kurulduğu bölge olan Mezopotamya ile Arslantepe’nin tarihi ilişkileri incelendikten sonra arkeolojik bulgulardan Arslante- pe’de uygulandığı varsayılan mal stoklama, kontrolü yöntemi ve uygulandığı düşünü- len mühür sistemi tartışılmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Arslantepe, Muhasebe Tarihi, Mal Stoklama Tarihi STOCK AND ENTRUSTED GOODS PRACTICES AT ARSLANTEPE (3500-3900 BC) ABSTRACT In this study, it is aimed to bring the data, collected from the findings and dating stud- ies of archaeologists about civilization Arslantepe –where the formation of civilization thought to have begun between 3500-3900 BC- combined with other documents in the hands of historians according to the systematic of relevant sciences, into the use of accounting science people. The study aims to give information about the study which has been done in order to generate information to the relevant parties by linking the findings of the area which is one of the practices of the state, perhaps one of the firsts, with the science of account- ing, before the invention of writing. After examining the historical relationships between Mesopotamia and Arslantepe – the region of the firsts of state practices-, goods storage, inventory control method and the seal system which are assumed to have been practised in Arslantepe are discussed.
