The area of the study is Rehama Academy School, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The population of the study comprises 25 teachers in Rehama Academy School. A sample of 20 teachers was involved in the study. A purposive sampling technique was applied in the selection process. The Instrument used for the study to collect data from respondents is a structured questionnaire titled learning management system in education: benefits and drawbacks (LMSEBD) with 30-item questions. The reliability coefficient of 0.64 was obtained using Pearson product-moment correlation. Mean and Standard Deviation answered the research question while the t-test answered the hypothesis. The study found that the t-test learning management system is not just for eLearning, it is capable of housing videos, slide decks, written instruction, and various other learning materials in a user-friendly, centralized location. Based on the findings, the researcher recommends that With the use of a learning management system, students can maintain their independence, excitement, and motivation. I.INTRODUCTION The development of blended and hybrid learning has significantly altered the typical classroom experience. With blended learning, students can attend lectures in person and enhance their education with readings from the LMS Afzal [1] Readings, notes, lectures that were videotaped, lesson plans, and much more could be included in the learning management system content. However, hybrid learning gives students even more flexibility by letting them attend classes in person or online and supplement that with readings from an LMS Imed [2]. You can access the online courses directly from the LMS. Students are free to choose how they want to show up for class. Due to the flexibility, it is simpler for students to maintain their attendance, and should the school need to close for any reason, the course schedule is not disrupted. The fact that a learning management system turns into a consolidated platform with all the course materials required for any given course is one of its best characteristics, according to O'Connor [3]. The learning process for all students is streamlined by having a single, well-managed database. From a single site, students may upload coursework and take tests. Learning management system (LMS)-an online integrated program is used for designing, delivering, monitoring, and reporting various educational courses and its outcomes. The same can be used for supporting conventional face-to-face instruction and for combined /hybrid and online learning. Learning management system software is used in schools to organize, carry out, facilitate, evaluate, and keep track of students' progress Alzahrani [4]. All of these activities take place behind a virtual wall that offers some level of privacy, security, and authentication. With the help of LMS, educators can effectively and efficiently develop courses, deliver instruction and facilitate communication between students. It can also foster teamwork between students, review student success, and provide additional learning resources for support. Thereby it helps in assisting the schools in maintaining the integrity of their educational programs. This data can be evaluated to find learning trends and gaps that require remedial student intervention and class improvement as a whole. In order to plan for improvement and pursue data-driven professional development, leaders can access reports on class and overall school performance Vaughn [5]. Within LMS an instructor/ teacher can combine/align standards with curriculum/resources and assessments. With the LMS teachers can also track students' progress and activities.
