1. Introduction
Modern society is constantly facing various
challenges, which are connected with ecology,
economy, as well as political, religious and military
confrontations. At the same time, we observe
technological development, the emergence of new
professions, types of creativity, and methods of
communication. Under these conditions, higher
education plays an important role in achieving the
goals of sustainable development, ensuring the
economic growth of the country, and forming both
civil and inclusive society.
A significant number of European states have
joined the creation of a single educational area which
ensures an opportunity to obtain quality education
and increase one’s competitiveness on the
international labor market in accordance with the
Bologna Declaration, European Standards and
Guidelines (ESG), and other documents. The
integration of Ukraine into the European Higher
Education Area (EHEA) has led to the emergence of
new approaches and requirements for ensuring the
quality of higher education, it has simplified the
mechanisms for the correlation of the national
framework of qualifications with foreign educational
systems, and it has created conditions for the
effective exchange of experience and the use of the
best educational practices. At the same time, the
issues of improving the quality of higher education
and its compliance with the developed regulatory
documents draws attention of researchers, heads of
higher education institutions (HEIs) and civil
servants [1], [2].
