Tis inaugural edition of the journal is a publication of Select Proceedings from the University of West Georgia Undergraduate Literary Conference of April 2010. Te conference is supported by M.A. students and the Department of English and Philosophy. By publishing academic papers from undergraduates, LURe opens up a forum for dialogue and discussion within the academic community, provides a medium for recognition of exceptional work, and encourages students to view themselves as vital members of the intellectual community they inhabit.
