The isolated compounds were identified by analysis of physical and spectroscopic (IR, 1D and 2D NMR) data. We report five flavonoids ($%& and $’), two chalcone, sesquiterpenoids (( and )), one indole alkaloid (*), one triterpenoid (+), and a mixture of two phenolic compounds (, and $$). Remarkably, it is the second isolation of sumadain A (() and sumadain B ()) from a natural source. Compounds ( and ) were evaluated against several cancer cell lines, as the previous report lacked biological activity studies. Compound ) showed strong cytotoxicity against Hela, HT,29, HCT,116, and A549 cell lines, with IC 50 values in the range of 5.43–14.64 g/mL. -./: Anomianthus dulcis, Annonaceae, sumadain, anti, proliferative activity *Corresponding author E,mail address: ratsami@kku.ac.th
