This disbandment was widely reported by the media. The results of the report, according to the SMRC program manager, were that the majority of residents agreed with the disbandment of FPI. Metrotvnews as one of the media reporting the disbandment of FPI can participate in changing the views of the majority of the community or the dominated group to agree with the decision of the dominant group on the disbandment of FPI. This kind of event explains the indications of media hegemony. The study examines the hegemony of the MetroTVnews media in reporting on the disbandment of FPI. This study uses a qualitative method with the type of exploratory and descriptive research. The data source uses primary data sources in the form of the metrotvnews youtube channel, with data collection techniques with documents and data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings in this study are metrotvnews reports with titles such as Government Officially Establishes FPI Forbidden Ormas, Reasons for Government to Disband FPI, Ahmad Sahroni: FPI Unsettling and Enemy of the State, FPI Contrary to the 1945 Constitution, it shows that there is hegemony in reporting. This media hegemony also shows that the hegemony in metrotvnews reporting is the right thing because in fact FPI is a mass organization that has violated the provisions contained in the legislation. The results of the metrotvnews hegemony also show that the FPI, which previously had influence in the community, with this hegemony the majority of the people supported or agreed to the ban or disbandment of the FPI. Keywords : FPI; Media Hegemony; Dissolution of Islamic Organization. ABSTRAK Pada waktu lalu pemerintah telah resmi membubarkan FPI. Pembubaran ini diberitakan oleh media dengan masif. Hasil dari pemberitaan menurut manajer program SMRC bahwa mayoritas warga setuju dengan pembubaran FPI. Metrotvnews sebagai salah satu media yang memberitakan pembubaran FPI dapat turut serta merubah pandangan mayoritas masyarakat atau kelompok yang didominasi untuk setuju dengan keputusan kelompok dominan atas pembubaran FPI. Peristiwa semacam ini menjelaskan indikasi hegemoni media. Penelitian meneliti hegemoni media metrotvnews dalam pemberitaan pembubaran FPI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksploratif dan deskriptif. Sumber data menggunakan sumber data primer berupa channel youtube metrotvnews, dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan dokumen dan teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemberitaan-pemberitaan metrotvnews dengan judul-judul seperti Pemerintah Resmi Tetapkan FPI Ormas Terlarang, Alasan Pemerintah Bubarkan FPI, Ahmad Sahroni: FPI Meresahkan dan Musuh Negara, FPI Bertentangan dengan UUD 1945 memang menunjukkan terdapat hegemoni dalam pemberitaan. Dalam hegemoni media ini juga menunjukkan bahwa hegemoni dalam pemberitaan metrotvnews ini adalah suatu hal yang tepat karena pada kenyataanya FPI memang ormas yang telah melanggar ketentuan yang ada dalam peraturan perundang-undangan. Hasil dari hegemoni metrotvnews juga menunjukkan bahwa FPI yang sebelumnya memiliki pengaruh di masyarakat maka dengan hegemoni ini mayoritas masyarakat menjadi
