Abstract
In recent years, Information and Communication
Technologies (ICTs) have become an essential tool
for professionals working on tangible and intangible
cultural heritage since the identity of sites and
communities can be preserved through them. Their
progress in the last years is crucial for countries
like Greece and Cyprus, where cultural resources
represent a significant possible source for the local
economy and social enhancement. In this context,
