Complementary midwifery therapy is an effort to
restore health which includes treatment and treatment
of diseases for pregnant women, childbirth,
postpartum babies and children. Crisis and disaster
situations are something that cannot be predicted in
disaster-prone areas so that anticipation can be given
in disaster first aid. The aim is to increase knowledge
of maternal and child health through interprofessional
collaboration in complementary midwifery and trauma
healing for communities affected by coastal erosion in
South Minahasa district. The method provided is the
application of complementary care for pregnant
women and trauma healing for children and Basic Life
Support training. Activities that have been carried out
are back massage services for 10 pregnant women,
trauma healing for 38 children and the community in
general given Basic Life Support for 50 families.
