Se trata de una buena parte de la tradición histórica del antiguo altepetl Cuitlahuac, del año 1222 al 1517. Se presenta también un estudio introductorio en donde se señalan algunos datos biográficos del copista, así como un somero análisis de su producción historiográfica. Palabras clave: Cuitlahuac, Tláhuac, Chimalpopoca, altepetl, Cuauhtitlan Abstract This article is the first publication of the translation of a document transcribed in the 19th cen- tury by the renowned nahuatlahto Faustino Chimalpopoca Galicia, which was culled from the Anales de Cuauhtitlan. It covers a large part of the historical tradition of the ancient Cuitlahuac altepetl from 1222 to 1517. An introductory study also offers some biographical data on the copyist, as well as a brief analysis of his historiographic production.
