(Greimas, 1973 : 162) Abstract To emphasize the theoretical strength of the narrative model of Greimas’ se- miotics, in honor of the ffty years of his Sémantique structurale (1966), this text presents brief refections on two of its potentialities still little explored by semi- oticians, their followers. It is the status of “anthropology of the human imagi- nary”, imaginary as “fesh” and not as “cognition” (Petitot), to be explored in two aspects: (i) the “pulsional” aspect for the “thymic” regime of narrativity; (ii) the aspect of a “semiotic narrative” entering the horizon of anthropology, in the broad debate on the great narratives of anthropogenesis. Introduction Ce petit texte, présenté au Colloque International intitulé Sémantique structurale 50 ans après, à l’Université d’Istanbul, veut rendre hommage aux eforts d’Algirdas Julius Greimas de mettre la narrativité au cœur de l’imaginaire humain. Le propos est de relever l’importance et la nécessité de faire sa théorie narratologique s’introduire, dialoguer et même instruire les débats qui composent le vaste champ des grands « récits de l’anthro- pogenèse », c’est-à-dire du devenir homme de l’homme. Étant donné la « recherche de méthode » monumentale qui est accom- plie par Greimas dans sa Sémantique structurale, où les fonctions et les personnages de l’œuvre de Propp ont été systématisés et transformés en un vigoureux « schéma narratif », avant d’être reconstitués en une « struc- ture actancielle » parfaitement cohérente et qui nous est bien familière ;
