Abstract In this paper a dual is associated to a nonlinear multiobjective fractional pro- gramming problem using linearization and scalarization approaches invoh·ing differentiable functions. A multiobjective tractional dual in terms of Clarke's generalized gradient is associated to the problem and certain duality results are established involving type I functions. Introduction Study of multiobjective fractional programming problems has received a great deal of attention in the recent past. Some of the authors like Weir [ 15, 16,17 j, Egudo [7], Kaul and Lyall [I 0] etc. discussed multiobjcctivc fractional problems im·olvin!! diftl:rentiable functions. Later this study was extended to mulriohjective fraeti(mal
