Te future, library leaders not only fnd ways to keep abreast of information technology. Librarian leader also seek efective and efcient ways as alternative solutions to implement changes according to the wishes of millennial users in fnding the information they want. Tis paper discusses the transformation of leadership for librarians in the digital era. Using descriptive qualitative methodology based on literature review data from previous research Papers display leadership in a diferent perspective from previous research. Te results of this paper outline the defnition of the practice of leadership transformation into an outline of leadership transformation that must be carried out by future librarians in the digital age library. Transformation leadership is considered capable of following changes in the demands of professionalism and library users, and being able to keep pace with the technology and information development.
