Abstract---People over the age of 65 who have diabetes are more likely
to have mental health issues. Chronic illness might have a direct or
indirect impact on this outcome. Diabetic complications can also play
a role. The goal of this study is to examine the relationship between
the various diabetes problems and the mental health issues of
depression, anxiety, and cognitive decline in the elderly diabetic
