Location Turkey Methods URM building cases were redesigned and evaluated under TBEC-2018 for a comparative analysis. Results New URM buildings can be built and existing ones can be preserved only in the areas with less than 0.10g ground acceleration, according to TBEC-2018 provisions. The code should be revised considering international earthquake codes and the past experiences.
