Corona virus disease-19 A disease caused by corona virus, leads to respiratory illness while damaging the human immune system, transmitted through droplets of an infected person into another persons eyes, nose, or mouth and highly fatal in nature. Ethical imperative A belief or principle which is perceived as extremely morally necessary. Palliative An approach that improves the quality of life of individual facing problems associated with life- threatening illness. Social distancing A precautionary measure of maintaining at least 1 m distance from every person in a bid to stop the spread of COVID-19. Misinformation The propagation of false or unveried information through communication channels. Lockdown A total closure of all economic, social activities to ensure people stay indoors in order to curtail the spread of COVID-19.
