agroecosystems of Turkey. Part II: (Insecta: Coleoptera). Munis Entomology & Zoology, 19
(1): 372-417]
ABSTRACT: In Turkey, studies regarding insect species being present in the cherry
agroecosystems date back 80 years ago. This study was conducted to evaluate the insect
fauna of cherry agroecosystems in the light of previous studies. In this section (Part II), the
results of the evaluation made on 393 species / subspecies belonging to 231 genera of 27
families of Coleoptera were given.
KEY WORDS: Cherry, fauna, insect diversity, Turkey, Coleoptera
The present study is the second part of a serial work planned on insect species
determined in cherry agroecosystems in Turkey. “Introduction” and “Material and
Methods” sections for this study was given by Tezcan & Gülperçin (2022) in the
first part of this serial papers.
RESULTS
In this study, totally 393 species / subspecies belonging to 231 genera of 27
families of Coleoptera were evaluated.
