The present study presents investigation on the physicochemical parameters of ground water samples collected from selected boreholes, in Crown Estate and environs, in Okada, Benin City, Nigeria. Samples were collected from selected boreholes and pH taken and immediately taken to the laboratory to investigate some selected physicochemical characteristics. The mean concentrations of metals in the water samples followed a decreasing order: Zn (0.5122mg/l) > Fe (0.4378mg/l) > Mn (0.0594mg/l) > Ni (0.0358mg/l) > Cr (0.0302mg/l) > Cu (0.3000mg/l), Pb and Cd were below Original Research Article
