E-mail: ayshamuzammila.a@wavoowajeehacollege.in ABSTRACT Reskilling is the buzz word among the employees to explore their skills. Training and development plays a vital role in every organization same skilling and reskilling become significant for teachers in today’s scenario during this pandemic period. They need to be updated to learn to make the students to learn and understand in different dimensions. This study was an attempt to capture the impact of reskilling through various faculty development program and reskilling themselves for in-service teachers at Wavoo Wajeeha Women’s college of arts and science and how it impacts in their teaching methodology. The percentage were analysed with the sample of 77 faculties by administering questionnaire to them by using T test, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results indicated that there is an impact on teaching methodology by reskilling and training the teachers. Keywords: Reskilling, Training and development, teaching methodology Introduction During past two decades, teaching methodology structuring in education has been impacted in unintended consequences; one of these become really a very big challenge to the teaching faculties in educational institution. Re-skilling means teaching new skills, teaching faculties are forced to adapt according the virtual teaching methodology. The authors attempted to offer a view point on enhancing applicative knowledge through unique teaching methods in Wavoo Wajeeha Womens college of arts & Science as a phygital environment through reskilling and training organized by the institution by Faculty Development program (FDP’s). This study made the author to be concerned with learning virtual teaching by active participating in FDP’s. COVID’19 made a whole world into a freeze position and educational institutions, faculties face the very big tragedy to develop the students community. LITERATURE REVIEW Multiple training programs makes the employees to learn and experience them to upgrade and up skill their knowledge where they are working. It also pave the way for them to make promotions and other enhancing fields to face the better future. (M.kamarunNihar,2019) A paradigm shift has been followed by educational institutions from traditional teaching to online mode of teaching during this COVID 19. Teaching community started learning and adapt themselves to this phygital environment very soon and started their curriculum flexible to make the students to be in educational track (GirishaLakshmanNaik, 2021) This pandemic of COVID 19 created a situation where both the students as well as teaching faculties need to adopt the technology not by option but a mandatory for education system. This came with more opportunities in digital world and at the same time lot of challenges in using the technology like selecting the proper platform, channel of communication, cost of license, infrastructure, internet in remote areas etc in a very short duration.
