Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu derlemede COVID-19 tanısı almış hastaların cerrahi tedavi sürecinde kanıta dayalı rehberler ve farklı ülkelerin perioperatif süreçte uyguladıkları yöntemler incelenmiştir. Bulgular: COVID-19 salgını sırasında, tanı almış ya da şüpheli hastaların ertelenemez acil cerrahi tedavi gereksinimleri ortay çıkmış ve sağlık bakım hizmetlerinde yeni bir perioperatif organizasyonun oluşturulması gerekmiştir. Bu organizasyon ve savunma önlemleri ile sağlanan bakım kalitesini optimize etmek, diğer hastaların ve sağlık bakım çalışanlarının viral riskini azaltmak, bulaşı en aza indirmek amaçlanmıştır. Perioperatif dönem birçok sağlık profesyonelinin ortak çalıştığı, kritik bir iletişim ağına ihtiyaç duyan, sistematik bir yaklaşım gerektiren kritik bir süreçtir. Sonuç: Pandemiyle savaştığımız bu günlerde perioperatif süreç boyunca, etkin ve planlanmış bir savunma hattının oluşturulması zorunludur. Anahtar Kelimeler: COVID-19, pandemi, perioperatif savunma Surgery of Patients with COVID-19 Diagnosis: Perioperative Defense ABSTRACT: Purpose: The aim of the review is to provide suggestions that will minimize contamination during the perioperative process, to protect the healthcare professionals along with the patients, and to ensure that they are used in the most effective way. Material and Methods: In this review, evidence-based guidelines and methods applied by different countries in the perioperative process were examined during the surgical treatment of patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Results: During the COVID-19 outbreak, non-delayed emergency surgical treatment needs of diagnosed or suspected patients were revealed and a new perioperative organization had to be established in health care services. It is aimed to optimize the quality of care, reduce the viral risk of other patients and healthcare workers, and minimize transmission with this organization and defense measures. The perioperative period is a critical process that many healthcare professionals work together, needs a critical communication network and requires a systematic approach. Conclusion: It is imperative to create an effective and planned line of defense during the perioperative process in these days when all of us fighting pandemic.
