FIBULELE DE TIP ALMGREN GRUPA VII, SERIA I, VARIANTA CU BUTON LA CAP ȘI COARDĂ ÎNALTĂ DE PE TERITORIUL ROMÂNIEI (PROVINCIA DACIA ȘI LUMEA BARBARĂ)  Vitalie BÂRCĂ  Sorin COCIȘ  Brooches of Type Almgren Group VII, Series I, Variation with Headknob and Vertical Catchplate from the Territory of Romania (Province of Dacia and the Barbarian World) Abstract. Based on archaeological finds, this article attempts to analyse brooches belonging to Almgren VII, Series I, variation with headknob and external chord from the territory of Romania. We discuss 85 such brooches (five in silver) which belong to several subvariants dated to chronological intervals in the period between the last decades of the second century and the first decades of the fourth century AD. The authors conclude that these specimens originated in the Przeworsk and Wielbark cultural environments and that they are a marker (alongside other types of artefacts) of the entry and settlement of Germanic populations in the territories surrounding the province of Dacia from with the last quarter of the second century AD. Introducere Publicarea în literatura de specialitate din ultimele decenii a numeroase fibule de acest tip, adeseori într-un context mai larg al tipologiei fibulelor dintr-o provincie romană, Barbaricum, sit, colecție muzeală sau a unor noi piese, tipare ori chiar a unui centru de producție, oferă astăzi posibilitatea de a creiona o serie de concluzii cu privire la piesele ce aparțin acestui tip descoperite pe teritoriul actual al României 1 . Fibulele supuse analizei au sistemul de închidere prin resort format din 8-40 spire dispuse simplu, dublu sau triplu. Coarda este exterioară.
