How strategic planning impacts firm performance and what tools, conceptions, knowledge, systems of strategic business performance management should be conducted in firms, is his core research area. So far he has published more than 100 papers, 44 of which are registered in the world scientific databases Web of Science or Scopus. His research appears in WoS journals such as Journal of Economics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, E+M Economics and Management, Journal of Business, Economics and Management or Journal of Competitiveness. 2 Petra Lesnikova, PhD, is an assistant professor at the Department of Economics, Management and Business, Technical University in Zvolen, Slovakia. She finished the doctoral study in the field of Business Economics and Management. She focuses her research effort in areas as business performance and sustainability.
