These account for the incessant social vices amongst the youths in Nigeria. The rate at which this menace is degenerating called for concern among Nigerians especially counsellors, pastors, teachers and researchers in order to find lasting solution to this issue at hand. This ideology on how to curb this menace gave birth to the topic entitled The Language use and proper guidance and counselling services; a panacea for domestic violence and conflict resolution in Nigeria. In the course of carrying out this study it was discovered that so many factors were responsible for domestic violence/conflicts, factors such as poverty, religion, infidelity, lack of understanding, language use and lack of effective communications amongst others. The study recommended that couples/members of the family at all levels should intensify efforts towards tolerating each other, be careful of the kind of language you used on each other and contact a qualified counsellor when necessary in order to curb the negative impacts of domestic violence/conflicts which at time leads to death.
