It uses Trust Case language to develop argument structures demonstrating compliance with standards. The paper presents how SCF is applied to increase effectiveness of requirements communication. Relevant mechanisms of the framework are thoroughly described referring to the ISO/IEC 27001:2005 standard. Two case studies of the framework application, one in a project aimed at assessing the compliance, another in a project aimed at achieving the compliance are presented.
