In designing teaching modules teachers must have the ability to think to innovate. Therefore, teachers must have pedagogical competencies that need to be developed such as teaching techniques in the classroom so that they are more effective, efficient, and do not leave the discussion of the planned learning objectives. However, in reality there is an imbalance and unpreparedness between the demands and abilities of educators who are not fully prepared for the various consequences of developing teaching modules in accordance with local wisdom based on the Independent Curriculum. The purpose of this service is to assist teachers in developing teaching modules in accordance with local wisdom based on the independent curriculum to support the implementation of more creative and innovative learning. The method of implementing community service is carried out by providing training which begins with 1) the preparation stage in the form of site surveys, observations, and initial interviews, as well as preparation of schedules; 2) implementation stage in the form of seminars and training; and 3) evaluation stage. From this dedication, it can be obtained that educators are still confused about implementing the independent curriculum in educational units and are then given material on implementing the independent curriculum by compiling the development of teaching modules based on local wisdom in Pasuruan. Training in this service activity opens the horizons of teachers' knowledge on how to compile and develop teaching modules on Pasuruan local wisdom based on the independent curriculum so that in the learning process in class students can think creatively, innovatively and meaningfully so they are not fixated on the classroom and school's effective time.
