In our opinion, author pointed an in- teresting subject. However, he mentioned that some of treatment options in LUTS can provide sexual well-being. At this point, we would like to affix contemporary medical treatment options of LUTS due to benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). The dutasteride and finasteride as 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors are widely used for medical treatment, in BPH [2,3]. These medical treatments provide to increase urinary flow rate and to decrease in prostate volume in terms of regular daily usage during 6 months. However, they may delay surgery, they cause erectile dysfunction (ED) and decreased libido [2]. On the other hand, patients have LUTS due to BPH and with erectile dysfunction, can be benefitted from daily usage of tadalafil [4]. Never- theless, clinical evaluation is essential for usage of these drugs. Clinicians may prefer 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors in BPH patients without ED, or they may prefer tadalafil for BPH patients with ED. The combination of these drugs with alpha blockers separately may be come into question. We agree with Tunckiran in terms of treatment of LUTS due to BPH may increase quality of life [1].
