Abstract—Today, technology has taken on a significant role in our lives. Additionally, Through
a combination of technologies, the Internet of Things (IoT) is represented at the system level in
numerous application fields. There are several situations in which the IoT can be applied.
Internet of Things (IoT) has radically altered human existence, it has received significant
attention in recent years. A vast range of applications, including smart homes, smart health,
smart transportation, and others, are made possible by the IoT. Since billions of connected
devices can exchange sensitive information and speak with one another, this information may
become public. The Internet of Things (IoT) can be considered one of the most powerful tools
for creating, manipulating and sharing data. Currently, there are billions of connected objects,
and this number is constantly increasing. In spite of the possibility that the proliferation of
linked things may improve every area of our lives, security concerns are also growing. It is
commonly acknowledged that the IoT poses a serious risk to user privacy. In addition, a variety
of solutions and preventative measures are put out to address the security issues associated with
IoT.

I. INTRODUCTION
Daily technological advancements are being produced with the intention of simplifying our lives. In recent years,
there has been a lot of interest in the Internet of Things (IoT). The concept of the Internet of Things was first
introduced in 1999 by Kevin Ashton. One of the most significant technological advancements of the twenty-first
century is the Internet of Things (IoT), which makes it possible to incorporate the real world into computer
systems for increased productivity, financial gain, and reduced labour requirements. IoT security refers to the
defence mechanisms used to defend network-based or internet-connected devices [1]. The word "Internet of
Things" is quite wide, and as technology continues to advance, the concept has only grown more so.
Here are a few IoT security issues that continue to threaten people's and enterprises financial security.
A. Remotely Exposure
Due to their internet-supported connectivity, IoT devices have a far larger attack surface than traditional
technologies. Although very helpful, this accessibility also makes it possible for hackers to remotely control
devices.
B. Resource Constraints
The lack of planning isn't the only problem with IoT security that newly digitised industries must deal with. The
resource limitations of many of these devices are a big issue with IoT security. Not all Internet of Things (IoT)
devices have the processing power to include sophisticated antivirus or firewall software. Some hardly have any
