At the beginning of the academic paper, a brief description has been explained to distinguish between the teacher and the lecturer and between the tutor and the instructor. Then, the duties and responsibilities of a lecturer, a tutor and a teacher have been clarified. It is recommended that teachers and lecturers should be real leaders to their students and encourage them to improve their standard of education and promote their personalities by adopting better qualities and ethics in their life. Introduction As a matter of fact, the roles and duties of educators can't be denied or ignored due to their significance. In educational centers as well as in communities, it is necessary to understand and consider the great responsibilities of educators in the promotion of the quality of education and in educating the whole person to be a good citizen. In this paper, these differences and responsibilities of a lecturer, a tutor and a teacher have been illustrated in detail. 2. Differences between a lecturer, teacher and a tutor To clarify each role, it is necessary to clarify the differences begging with a tutor. A tutor is a teacher who teaches in private and who works outside of school. A tutor, formally also called an academic tutor, is a person who provides assistance or tutelage to one or more people on certain subject areas or skills according to the definition in Wikipedia. Tutors are specialists in various topics and are paid to give extra lessons to students. Tutors don’t work in schools and are not government employees. A tutor is a person who teaches, and the tutee is the person being taught. The tutor is like a private teacher, a person who teaches outside of school. A tutee is a tutor’s student; That is to say, the main difference between Tutor and Teacher is that the Tutor is an instructor who gives private lessons, and a teacher is a person who helps others to acquire knowledge, competences or values in a formal learning situation. A tutor, formally also a tutor and lecturer, both teach; they are two completely different positions. A tutor can teach anything outside of school. Tutors can have very specific skill sets that they teach to their students. Tutors are often teachers in one subject or two. They work privately for single or small groups of students.
